Background The client is a major player in Audio and Video space from manufacturing, distribution and services on a global scale.

Client Project Objective
Project Brief The aim of the tool is to aid in production-planning and allow the controller (admin) to plan production related activities. The system would record various steps (milestones) and the time taken to achieve each minute milestone. This input is captured in the system by the operators. This will be enhanced to be done through video input in the next phase.
Once the inputs are completed the system will produce all the necessary reports, graphs, diagrams and schedules that can be analyzed for the management to inculcate best standardized practices in the employees.
Production costs for a given production line or any department could be calculated with a relative ease.
Client Need The client was facing performance and scalability issues with its current Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The Search module implemented in PL/SQL faces time constraints, and scalability issues thus constraining its expansion and integration.

› In spite of the intricate technology, SBS was able to deliver high quality because the lucidity of thought in the planning stage was effectively translated into action. Thus, SBS was able to create the tool, and deliver it on time and within the budget.
› The system started off as a standalone development project and due to scalability in the model the system could support multi-user access framework.
