| The city of Pune has two mode of Public road transports.
Auto-Rickshaw - These are the local taxis in Pune. The most common and popular, relatively cheap mode of transport. These are small, maximum 3 adults can travel together. One has to pay by the Meter and a rate-card. Easily available anywhere on the street or can find one at "Rickshaw-stand" at corner of every major road.
Local City Buses- These non-airconditioned buses plying on various roads in and around Pune city. They have fixed pick-up and drop points - "Bus-stops". Tickets can be purhcased from the Conductor inside the bus. Normally people in Pune travel by their own Scooters, Bikes and Cars.
